About the Tournament
We are pleased to announce the inaugural WomenShelter of Long Beach “Not-so-Serious” 9-hole Women’s Golf event that was held on May 15, 2023 at El Dorado Golf Course in Long Beach.
The event was designed to attract our community’s leading women philanthropists, business leaders, and golf enthusiasts who were interested in raising critically-needed funds for the prevention of domestic violence in Southern California.
The tournament was an energetic and light-hearted day of golf at one of Long Beach’s premiere public golf courses. Participants enjoyed a 9-hole shotgun start tournament, a dazzling silent auction, followed by a cocktail hour, dinner buffet, and a “not-so-serious” awards ceremony.
