Building Healthy Relationships (BHR)
The BHR program seeks to provide vital information regarding teen dating violence, healthy/unhealthy relationship behaviors, peer-to-peer relations (bullying behaviors), self-esteem, and consent. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not able to bring this education to the classrooms at local middle schools, high schools, and college campuses. Nonetheless, increasing education regarding healthy/unhealthy relationship behaviors and providing youth with the tools to keep themselves safe is of the utmost importance.
In recognition of National Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April), we have created an online Building Healthy Relationships presentation with an emphasis on sexual assault. We encourage you to take a stand against sexual assault, and dating violence, by viewing the video and sharing it with your peers. Before you jump into watching the video, or sharing it with a friend, we want to give you a trigger warning: the following presentation includes graphic language and images regarding abuse and sexual violence/assault.
